My #1 Fitness Tip
There is an overwhelming amount of information about health, fitness, and nutrition available. One expert may recommend one approach, while another contradicts it.
My advice, if you want to improve your health, energy levels, and just feel better? Keep it simple.
Walk every day.
Strength train at least twice a week.
Elevate your heart rate. Aim for 30 minutes of cardio exercise at least twice a week.
Hydrate. Aim for half of your body weight in ounces of water.
Focus on protein. Aim for 25-30 grams of protein a meal.
Prioritize Whole Foods. Minimize or eliminate processed foods.
Take a multivitamin.
Get quality sleep, ideally 7-9 hours a night.
If your goal is fat loss, maintain a slight calorie deficit.
Focus on being consistent, not perfect.
If you are just starting out, focus on one of these. Once it becomes a habit, add another.
Learn what works for your body and lifestyle.
