Life is busy and it moves fast. If we don’t slow down and check in on occasion, we will miss out on the fun ..and personal growth. One way to help bring awareness to our daily habits and goals, is create a structured approach to our days; create a plan.
Take a sheet of paper, or use the notes section on your phone, and write down these 5 things each week, filling in the blanks:
“I am doing __________ for my mental and emotional development this week.”
“I am doing __________ for my physical activity this week”
“I am doing ___________ for my nutrition this week”
“I am doing __________ with my most important relationships this week.”
“I am doing__________ for my career this week.”
The answers do not need to be complicated. Maybe you are adding a few minutes of meditation to your day for your mental health, planning 2 or 3 workouts a week, food/meal prepping, taking time for a date night and reading a few pages in a personal development book before bed each night.
Whatever your goals for the week are, write them down and read them in the mornings when you wake up, in the middle of your day, and again at night before you go to sleep.
Aim for 1% better every day!
